Dolce ListaPrivacy Policy

Dolce Lista is an app for making lists with friends, rating what's on them and talking it over. It is not a social network: what you put in a list is seen only by the people invited to that list. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time code. We don't use it for marketing.
- Your profile: the name, initials and avatar color you choose.
- What you create in the app: lists, items, your ratings, reviews and status for each item, comments, the custom Types you add, and which lists you belong to.
- Invite codes you create for your lists, and when they were used.
- An app setting on your phone recording when you last opened the Activity tab (used for its badge).
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking in the app.
Who can see it
- Your name, initials and color are seen by people who share a list with you.
- Your ratings, reviews, status and comments on a list are seen by that list's members.
- A custom Type you create is offered only to you; members of your lists see it as that list's label.
- Your email address is never shown to other people.
Services we use
We use a small number of providers to run the app. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase stores the app's data and handles sign-in. Data is stored in the United States.
- Resend delivers the sign-in emails.
- Apple distributes the app. If you test through TestFlight and choose to share them, Apple passes on crash reports and feedback.
We don't sell your information or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). That removes your profile, the lists you own and everything in them, and your ratings, reviews and comments. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing support@dolcelista.com.
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for us to correct it, at the same address.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Access is limited by rules in the database so that each person can only read the lists they belong to.
Children
Dolce Lista is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its date. If a change is significant, for example adding a new kind of data or provider, we'll also tell you in the app.
